The second project I made for this year's event features a trilogy of Mini Framed Panels, Paper Dolls, and a fabulous new product called Collage Paper.

I used vintage postcards for the backgrounds (the frames are the same size, 4-3/8" by 6-3/8"). At this year's show more frame sizes were introduced that coordinate with Vignette Boxes.

Taking a closer look, you'll notice the black and white leaves, berries and text which is a section of the new Collage Paper.

It's the ideal tissue paper--thin enough to cut through with a water brush yet strong enough to hold up while pasting (I love it).

It comes in three patterns: Botanical (which is what I used), Aviary and Floral (which have color print) and there's also a plain version (yes!) which will be perfect for stamping.

The Hinge Clip and Star Adornment were distressed using the technique described in this post.

Multiple layers of paint in browns and white and even a bit of gold along the edges were used to give my frames some vintage flare.

I used a variety of Design Tapes, Ephemera, and Clippings Stickers and even some vintage postage stamps.

There's also a small amount of tinted texture paste (using Tim's Dot Fade stencil) for more visual interest and to help unify the trio.

I couldn't be more excited about the new Collage Paper and I hope these examples will give you an idea of what you can do with it.
