Color Blind

Inspired by the Monday blog challenge at Simon Says Stamp where the theme is "blue," I have created a manila tag covered with watercolor canvas, stamped (PaperArtsy) with archival ink, tinted with watercolors and distress inks, and finished with a stencil using a light touch of off-white acrylic paint. Tinting the bottles was inspired by design team member Dan and his monochrome approach to this week's challenge. Thanks Dan!

  1. Beulah...this is a very cool tag and a great "take" on our challenge theme. I really like that Paper Artsy stamp and the way you've colored bottles with various shades of blue. Thanks so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. <3 Candy

  2. This tag is absolutely stunning and I stared at it for so long that my husband thought I'd gone into a coma! But really- the whole concept of "color blind" was genius and I love the little bottle that's different from all the rest, along with the "20 blue bottles" notation. I just found the subject matter and the way you presented it very intriguing, So clever! The way you used watercolors and inks also really blew my mind. You've done a wonderful piece here and I'm so glad that you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
