I am smitten with
this very early photograph of three sisters by Carl Gustav Oehme taken in 1845. Back then Christmas celebrations were nothing like the customs of today but, around this time in America, Christmas trees and cards were beginning to appear.
I trimmed and tinted the photo, combined it with some Tim Holtz Christmas ephemera and embellished it with
Stickles.
