About the Blog

I make art to escape from everyday stress--it is the therapy I seek for all that ails me. The freedom of expression and challenge of learning new techniques is really good medicine.

I'm grateful for the inspiration I receive from a community of bloggers and vendors all over the world and wish to contribute by sharing my ideas, artwork and techniques.

This bit of show and tell becomes a diary of my work and useful reference. If it inspires someone else, all the better!

Although a late-comer to blogging, I've enjoyed making art all my life and have tried a bit of everything including pottery, sculpture and watercolor.

In the past few years, I've taken an interest in paper arts, mixed media and collage and the terrific products that are now available. I've also acquired a powerful addiction to rubber stamps and wish to possess them all!

I like to work in art journals, make greeting cards and have tried my hand at a few assemblages. But mostly I have a thing for tags--I'm quite fond of the challenging long and narrow format.

I welcome any questions you might have regarding my techniques--I'm happy to share what I've learned and appreciate your interest.

And just in case you're curious, the name of my blog came from my husband who calls me Beulah or "B" all the time, even in public, and even when I insist there's no one here by that name!
