CHA 2017 Mini Configurations Book

The Idea-ology Mini Configurations Book has six compartments, I removed two of them and turned three over. I used thin wood strips (sold in the craft stores) and some foam core which I covered with the new Design Tapes to create a structure inside the book that's a little less conventional.

My goal was to feature several of the Design Tape patterns (most came from the Vintage collection, the white on black numbers came from Chatter). If you haven't seen the variety available, go to Tim's blog post and you will be amazed!

I also used several pieces from the new Snippets Ephemera Pack which are tucked into the inside cover. It's all the great ephemera we are used to but in a smaller size, a brilliant idea--so useful!

The text is from the new Clippings Stickers, four pages of creative and inspirational words (clipped from actual books) that is truly one of my favorites this year.

Other new products featured in this project include Metal Stars, Ruler Pieces and Quote Chips. I used Plain Tissue Wrap stamped and pasted to the box fronts, there's a bit of Lace Trimming, an Adornment Arrow, Ephemera Pack pieces and text from a few Remnant Rubs.

I kept the book covers rather plain, using a few strips of Design Tape, letters from the new Alpha Gold Metallic Stickers and paper from the new stash called Memoranda.

  1. Yet again another masterpiece. Just love your less conventional design - inspired. A wonderful way of telling the story of Gus and Gina. Superb x

  2. I just love books made like this. The design tapes are really impressive as edging. Also the story is nice as well, pretty much a poem with a haiku-like rhythm.
