No. 76

Perhaps the mood of American citizens during Mark Twain's lifetime were similar to today. Given our current events, I thought using his quote was appropriate.

This tag was made for Simon's Monday challenge blog where this week's theme is Red, White and/or Blue. I used Correspondence paper stash and stamps along with a Found Relative and Distress inks and stains.

Thank goodness for a light wash of gesso which saved the day when the tag took a direction I was not happy with. As always, you can click on the images to see more detail in a larger version.

  2. Ah yes, thank goodness for gesso! Whatever direction it took, it looks fantastic now, that is such a great background you created and I love that image. Given the current events in the UK at the moment, I think Mark Twain got it right, with this quote, for us too! Anne xx

  7. LOVE this (in capital letters)! Of course the sentiment and images are flippin' fantastic, but I also am really intrigued by the background shapes in this one! Looks fantastic and I also adore the ruler-type of lines at the bottom with the 76. Love how your details are always thoughtful and represent something important.
